Stuxnet è un virus informatico in grado di autoreplicarsi scoperto nel 2010 da alcuni esperti. È stato creato con ogni evidenza dagli Stati Uniti ed Israele per sabotare il progetto nucleare iraniano. Ha però manifestato una criticità inattesa: oltre a colpire il bersaglio stabilito ha iniziato a diffondersi in maniera incontrollata e incontrollabile. Accade così che si sia finito per scoperchiare il vaso di Pandora di una possibile guerra informatica dagli esiti del tutto imprevedibili.
