Gli X-Men tornano sullo schermo per la terza volta e cambiano anche regista. Brett Ratner (già opzionato all'inizio della serie) rileva in corsa Brian Singer regista dei primi due film. Questa volta lo scontro è davvero finale e decisivo. Sia i discepoli del professor Xavier che i seguaci di Magneto si troveranno ad affrontare un nuovo e più insidioso pericolo: una medicina che può 'guarirli' dal loro stato di diversità. Né gli uni né gli altri vogliono però cambiare anche se le motivazioni e le modalità per affrontare lo scontro sono profondamente diverse. Il numero dei personaggi è considerevolmente aumentato e Jean Grey con la sua doppia personalità incontrollabile creerà più di un problema. In una serie che non è solo la messa in scena di imprese mirabolanti (vedi "I fantastici 4") ma che vuole anche provare a interrogarsi su un tema importante come quello della diversità dosare effetti e psicologie è fondamentale. Ratner e i suoi collaboratori ci sono riusciti. Con il rischio di deludere un po' i fanatici dell'azione per l'azione ma con la certezza di mettere in moto i neuroni di chi cerca l'entertainment intelligente."X-Men: Conflitto finale" lo è. Se poi volete vedere in faccia chi ha inventato questi e numerosi altri personaggi che dalle pagine dei fumetti sono poi passati sul grande schermo osservate con attenzione la sequenza iniziale. L'anziano signore con in mano la pompa dell'acqua è 'Mister Marvel' ovvero Stan Lee. Che ha l'aria di divertirsi ancora tantissimo(my movies.it)
