Un terrorista di nome Simon (Irons) minaccia di far esplodere bombe in tutta New York, a meno che il poliziotto McClane (cui si affianca ben presto l'ex taxista Zeus) non segua le sue istruzioni. Ma il marito di una dirigente, un poliziotto, sfugge alla cattura e inizia una sua guerriglia personale all'interno del grattacielo. Ottima suspense, efficacemente ambientato, con avvincenti scene d'azione. Funziona persino lo scialbo Bruce Willis.(my movies.it)
