Un terrorista di nome Simon (Irons) minaccia di far esplodere bombe in tutta New York, a meno che il poliziotto McClane (cui si affianca ben presto l'ex taxista Zeus) non segua le sue istruzioni. In realtà Simon realizza un clamoroso furto a Wall Street e solo i due indistruttibili eroi riescono a scoprirlo e a sconfiggerlo, dopo oltre due ore di corsa ininterrotta.(my movies.it)

Un tal Simon siembra el pánico en las calles de Nueva York haciendo explotar una serie de bombas y asegura que no dejará de hacerlo a menos que el agente John McClane acceda a jugar con él a un juego llamado "Simón dice".
